Last week Agility President Jina Zohori and I travelled to Aarhus, Denmark for the annual Boye and Co CMS Experts and Digital Communications conference

Why travel all the way to Denmark, you ask? This conference is convened by Janus Boye of Boye and Co, and his events are incredibly collaborative and often discussion-based. It's an opportunity to practice  Agility's core values of Collaborate, Learn & Teach It.

The core theme running through the event was that AI is an inevitable force plying its way through multiple industries, including CMS and digital communication.

I was honoured to present twice at the conference, once in the CMS track on designing content models for the future.  I leaned heavily on my nearly 20 years of experience at Agility, much of it helping customers create content architecture and strategies that have lasted for many years. Content strategy is an evolutionary process that needs a good foundation at the start, and it was great to share those stories and case studies.

I continued the conversation on Thursday in the Digital Communications track talking about the continuum between Page Builder-style CMS and truly structured content that we recommend in the Headless CMS space.

The key differentiator that Agility brings is the concept of Pages and Components as an orchestrator for Web Experience.

We were also delighted to show off our upcoming (and as-yet unannounced) AI features coming to Agility. I can't share TOO much about those just yet, but believe me when I tell you that it will be a revolutionary way to use Agility!

It reminded my of last year's conference when we debuted the now-released Web Studio feature. It was great to do so in front of an industry-savvy audience full of positive folks who provide great feedback.

Jina and I met up with some other people from North America to tour the incredible Aarhus art gallery. The rainbow walk is a must-see highlight.

Sometimes you need a change of perspective!

The jet-lag isn't something I'm used to battling, but the journey to Denmark was certainly worth the combination of learning, collaborating and sharing that I've come to expect from Janus's events!
