Developer Features
Everything the big platforms give developers. Minus the headaches.
REST and GraphQL APIs, your own content model, an MCP server your AI coding tools can talk to, a CLI, and starter kits that get you to production fast. Enterprise-grade, without the enterprise drag.
Code with AI, right against the platform
Connect Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Windsurf to Agility through our MCP server. Configure content models, scaffold components, and ship features without leaving your editor. Your AI does the busywork. You stay in control of the code.
Will a small vendor show up for my dev team?
Yes, and not through a ticket portal or a forum full of strangers. When your developers hit something, they reach the people who built the platform, on the phone, the same people year after year. It isn't a premium tier we upsell. It's how a company this size works when it means it.

Developers define their own fields, references, and content structure
Your content model should reflect what you're building, not force your application into someone else's structure. Define your own fields, relationships, and content structure. Then query exactly what you need through REST or GraphQL and render it in Next.js, Nuxt, Astro, .NET, or your own stack.
Why developers actually like working with Agility
Every CMS has APIs. These are the things that make building on Agility different.
- 01
AI-native development
Our MCP server connects your AI coding tools straight to Agility over OAuth 2.0, so they can read and shape your content model while you build.
- 02
Production-ready from day one
Clone a starter kit, wire up the SDK, and deploy to Vercel, Netlify, or Azure. No weeks of setup before you write real code.
- 03
Your model, not ours
Define your own fields, references, and structure. No rigid templates to fight, and nothing forcing your app into someone else's shape.
- 04
Real humans who speak developer
Stuck? Talk directly to people who know the platform inside out. No ticket roulette, no chatbot maze.
With Agility we can decouple content from code, allowing content editors to work on their updates while we focus on what really matters: making our platform better for our users.

FAQs
Can I build with Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot?
Yes. Our MCP server connects Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Windsurf over OAuth 2.0, so your AI tools can read and work with your content model while you code.
Do you have a Next.js starter?
Yes. Clone our Next.js starter and you're running in minutes. We also have starters for Nuxt, Gatsby, and Astro, plus JavaScript and .NET SDKs.
What front end frameworks does Agility support?
Agility is fully framework-agnostic. We have official starter kits for Next.js, Nuxt.js, Gatsby, Astro, and ASP.NET, and our REST and GraphQL APIs work with any JavaScript or .NET framework. You also get TypeScript and JavaScript SDKs, a content sync SDK for static generation, and webhook support for CI/CD pipelines. Deploy to Vercel, Netlify, Azure DevOps, or any custom hosting environment.
How does content versioning work?
Every save creates a new version. You can preview any version, compare changes, and roll back from the content history at any time — so editing is always safe and reversible.
Do webhooks work with any content type?
Webhooks fire on changes across your content model, and you can wire up whatever needs to know.
Which deploy platforms are supported out of the box?
Vercel, Netlify, and Azure DevOps have ready-made integrations today, with more added over time.
Can I migrate from another CMS?
Yes. Import tooling and the Management API make bulk content migration from most headless and legacy CMSs straightforward. Our team can advise on mapping your existing models to Agility.
