Looking Back: Agility CMS 2024 Year in Review

It seems like just yesterday, the world was ringing in 2024, and now the year is about to end. At Agility CMS, the past 12 months were full of innovations, customer success stories, and other memorable events.

None of it happens without you: our customers and partners.

So before we proceed further, let us say thank you. Without you, there’s no us.

Now, let’s look at some of the highlights of 2024.

January: Meeting Everyone at MACH Haus

For the first time, Agility CMS participated in MACH Haus during NRF. It was a tremendous experience to meet fellow MACH Alliance members and customers too.

Big thanks to everyone who booked meetings with us to learn more about how Headless CMS+ could elevate their digital strategy.

March: New UI Refresh

In 2023, Agility launched the initial version of its new UI. It was a sneak peek and a feedback collection exercise as we wanted to know what you thought of it.

You shared your ideas and suggestions. We pored over all of them and implemented what we could. Then, in March, we were pleased to share the results.

Now, Agility is fully yours. It’s the CMS you use that you had a hand in shaping. Some of the new features you wanted to see include:

Workspace customization.
The return of infinite scroll.
Porting over more classic Agility CMS features into the new UI.

Remember at the start of this blog where we said nothing would happen in 2024 without you? This is exactly what we mean. The time you spent providing your comments fueled this UI refresh. We are grateful for everyone who took the time to bring this initiative to life.

August: Introducing Agility Academy

Class is now in session. August saw the launch of Agility Academy: a free learning portal catered to Agility experts, novices, and everyone in between.

It’s interactive and flexible. It’s short and convenient. It’s full of learning paths for you to choose from and maximize your knowledge and understanding of Agility CMS.

Best of all? When you’ve completed a learning path, you get a cool downloadable certificate to tell the world you know your stuff when it comes to Agility.

September: G2 Says We're No.1

When G2 handed out its Summer 2024 Awards, Agility CMS was named Best Usability for the Enterprise. There's really nothing more to be said after that.

November: The Launch of Web Studio

Ever make a change in your CMS and it looks nothing like you expected when you preview or publish it? It’s frustrating. It’s annoying. It, well, sucks.

That's all over now with Web Studio. Preview, edit, and manage content in real-time without ever leaving Agility. Your live web page – text, buttons, images, and all – appear inside Agility. Any changes you make to it inside Agility are exactly what you’ll see when you ultimately publish.

Since Web Studio fosters collaboration and communication, it eliminates the traditional headaches of traditional content creation:

Marking up PDFs with confusing comments.
Endless preview steps with every minor change.
Quick updates which are anything but.

It’s easy to throw out terms like “game-changing,” but Web Studio is. It’s the ultimate evolution of WYSIWYG because you see what your page will look like with no surprises after you hit that publish button.

November: Annual Agility Retreat

The annual Agility retreat occurred at the stunning Platinum Yucatan Princess resort in Cancun, Mexico. It was a great way for new faces to meet, familiar faces to meet again and strategize 2025 at Agility.

Much of the conversation focused on ensuring we – as your CMS provider and partner – are willing to embody our Core Values. They drive the decisions we make. They inspire the work we do. They guide the interactions and conversations we have with you.

All Year Long: Your Feedback

The Agility Feedback Loop was active the moment January 1 rolled around. Customers like you provided smart suggestions and recommendations to help us enhance Agility CMS to your needs.
