This year was an amazing one for Agility CMS. We built out our team, launched some awesome websites, gave back to the community in big ways and much more.
We Grew
A major part of what made 2014 so great was all of the new hires that joined the team.
First, Amy Wong was brought in at the start of the year as a Technical Project Manager. Amy was followed by Fernanda Speyers, our Office Manager. We hired two Developers, Pim Brouwers and Adriano Ueda. Our most recent addition is Project Coordinator Daniel Braga.
We also currently have an open position to fill. We're looking for an Account Executive to help us take customer satisfaction to the next level in the new year.

We Released New Features & Updates
The Publishing Package got new features this year. The Directory Listing module allows publishers to manage and monetize directories on their websites. Regions is a new feature that enables publishers to display and curate content based off a reader's location. The Subscriptions feature provides an easy way for publishers to manage reader and advertiser subscriptions.
The Agility CMS platform received performance and synchronization updates. Read more about these updates in wrap-ups of our January release and our Q3 release.
We Were Recognized by Microsoft
Agility CMS is part of the Microsoft Partner Network, and we recently achieved Silver Application Development and Cloud Platform competencies.
Competencies are attained through a demonstrated history of success within the tech industry and a commitment to customers. In order to earn a Microsoft Silver competency, partners need to complete rigorous exams that eventuate in Microsoft certifications. In addition, Microsoft also requires references from customers to demonstrate successful implementation and a satisfactory user-experience.

We Received Funding
In 2014, Agility CMS qualified for a research and development grant from the Scientific Research and Experimental Development Program, a federal tax incentive program from Canada Revenue Agency.
We also received a grant from the Ontario Media Development Corporation for our blog Unbound Media. The OMDC supports Ontario's creative economy by making innovative programs, services and funding available for content creation.
We Gave Back
This year, The Agility CMS Team raised over $2,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, and we participated in the Light the Night Walk in support of ending blood cancers.
We adopted a jaguar, named Zambuca, who lives at the Toronto Zoo. We sponsored a child through Canadian Feed the Children. And we sent Christmas presents to children all over the world via Operation Christmas Child. We also had fun at HoHoTO in support of Daily Bread Food Bank.
Most importantly, we got a brand new net for our ping pong table. It was a big year, and 2015 will be even bigger. Stay tuned for exciting news, updates and announcements.
