For the second year in a row, the Agility CMS Team will be joining the Toronto Light the Night Walk and fundraising to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC). Last year, we raised over $2,000 for The LLSC – an organization that supports Canadians battling blood cancers. This year, we're aiming for $3,000.

The LLSC hosts Light the Night events every year in many cities across the country. Thousands of participants gather together to parade through the streets, each one carrying an illuminated lantern that represents their personal relation to the cause. Blood cancer survivors carry white lanterns, supporters carry red and gold lanterns are carried in the memory of a lost loved one.

This cause is a personal one to Agility CMS Team as one of our employees won her fight against a blood cancer, but there are many others that need the support and aid that The LLSC provides.

The funds raised by Light the Night Walks provide:

  • Blood cancer research
  • Free education materials and events for patients and their families
  • Family Support Groups and peer-to-peer counseling programs
  • Improved assistance through the LLSC's Information Resource Center
  • Educational information sessions for healthcare professionals and other groups

Agility's goal is to raise $3,000 by October 21st. To donate, visit our Team's fundraising page. Every little bit helps!
