Our Vision for AI: Augmenting Human Capabilities

AI is changing and evolving so fast, it’s hard to keep track. Several organizations suggest that AI may take over roles currently performed by their staff.

At Agility CMS, our vision is clear:

AI won't replace humans, but will supercharge each person's capabilities, enabling us to achieve so much more.

Let’s continue to discover the best tooling and innovate both inside and outside our platform with AI.

Our Vision: AI as a Powerful Assistant

Our strategy outlines how we can responsibly leverage AI across Marketing, Customer Experience, Engineering, and productivity tools in general.

The focus is on evaluating emerging AI tools, integrating them into workflows, and enhancing human productivity without compromising quality or creativity.

Talking with one of our engineers the other day, he said,

I want a helpful rubber ducky, not something to write all my code, but an assistant to pair program with 24/7

I believe AI can help him achieve that.

The goal is to embrace AI as a powerful assistant – accelerating research, content creation, improving customer support, and boosting software development – while following best practices proven at other organizations.

AI in Marketing: Enhancing Creativity and Efficiency

Marketing is a prime area to deploy AI for content creation, optimization, and management. AI tools can assist our content team in generating copy, analyzing performance data, and scaling our content output.

The role of AI here is to act as a creative assistant that speeds up the writing process and provides data-driven insights, all under human direction.

Our team already creates great writing, but they’re a small team. AI can help them do more with the resources they have, while scaling out to provide messaging to our expanding base.

AI in Customer Support: Elevating Customer Satisfaction

The Customer Experience (CX) team stands to benefit immensely from AI through improved customer support and service.

AI can help us deliver faster support to our users and improve the efficiency of our team. The strategy focuses on what we do best: HUMAN SUPPORT

Our customers want to talk to a human who understands their point of view. While many AI tools look to replace the human-in-the-loop, we look to AI to help us scale our capacity to deliver that white-glove service.

AI in Software Development: Boosting Productivity

For our engineering team, AI offers a “pair programmer” that can boost productivity in coding, code review, and in some cases, system design.

From autocompleting code to reviewing PRs, AI developer tools are maturing rapidly. It’s practically an AI arms-race at this point. Our strategy is to integrate these tools into our development workflow to accelerate clean code production, reduce errors, and free up developer time for solving the complex problems that they specialize in.

The tooling for developers started with GitHub Copilot, but Cursor and Claude are quickly capturing the hearts and minds of our team. Our staff still rely on their own skills, but they are senior devs who are quick to recognize new ways to innovate.

Innovating with New Tools

At Agility, we continuously evaluate and trial new AI tools, ensuring we don’t miss great emerging solutions. Our approach is led by a guiding principle: AI is a collaborator, not a replacement for our core team members. By offloading repetitive tasks and providing intelligent assistance, AI will free up our people to focus on high-value, creative, and strategic work.

Empowering Our Team

By thoughtfully integrating AI into our processes, we aim to harness its benefits – faster outputs, smarter insights, and improved service – while empowering our employees to achieve more. AI is here to augment our capabilities, not replace us. There’s a lot of uncertainty out there – our vision is help provide staff with the support they need to mitigate that.

We’re doing our best work ever, and AI is helping us on our journey.
