# Nested Content

**Nested content** is linked content that creates child items belonging exclusively to their parent, such as the slides of a slider component or the cards in a feature section. The child items exist for that parent only and should be deleted with it.

Use nested content when the content is specific to one parent. When the same content must be reused in many places, use shared content instead.
