Teaming Up with Point Alliance for Community Outreach
Agility is lending a helping hand to partner Point Alliance as they celebrate their eleventh anniversary by awarding a non-profit organization with a brand new, free website.
Last week, Point Alliance announced that Accommodation, Information and Support Inc. (AIS) as the recipient of a website and hosting package valued at $20,000. The website will be managed and hosted by the Agility CMS Platform.
The contest began back in July when Point Alliance put out an open call for all Canadian non-profit organizations to submit applications explaining how a new website would benefit their cause. The AIS mission is to provide affordable housing and support in Toronto to persons who live with mental health challenges or face homelessness. "The House that AIS Built" is the organization's unique support model that provides services like nutritional programming and spiritual care.
"Supporting our community has become an important priority for Agility," Jonathan Voigt, CEO of Agility, said. "We are honoured that Point Alliance invited us to help out with this generous offer to support a Canadian non-profit organization."
Point Alliance and AIS plan to have the website complete within the first quarter of 2014. AIS will be using their new website to build a stronger, strategic and targeted presence online. It will also serve as a place for the non-profit to develop a consistent message and to engage current and future donors to support their cause of building more supportive housing and unique programming.
