Shifting Focus to Product Development and Expanded Partner Network
After ten years of creating digital content management solutions for top brands like Subaru, Doritos, Uncle Ben’s, Campbell’s, Oprah Network, W Network, Cineplex, Shoppers Drug Mart, and CTV, Agility is refreshing their service focus by moving the bulk of custom CMS development to its roster of partners. The decision to expand the existing partner base to include several prominent agencies in Toronto, New York and Los Angles was based on the high demand for their CMS platform which frequently requires configuration and website development to get customers up and running.
While Agility is shifting away from the hands-on development work, they plan to stay highly engaged in the architecture of complicated solutions to ensure their customers are experiencing best industry practices, high performance and scalable solutions. The shift will also help free up development resources for new product development focused on increasing traffic and revenue for media sites.
Co-Founder and CEO Michael Assad remarks, "Agility was hatched from a web development services company, so a service mentality is at the core of our DNA. As the demand for our content management system grows, we have decided that developing website solutions in-house is not the most effective way to meet increasingly sophisticated customer requirements – that’s where our partners come in."
Existing Agility Customers
To meet the demand for the Agility CMS software, Agility is relying on its partners who have been able to take over the fulfillment of required services for their existing customers. While still working closely together with these partners, Agility has begun transitioning project management over to Fourth Dimension, Brushfire North, Buena Digital and Point Alliance who will primarily step in on maintenance of websites and implementation of new website features.
The customer transitions are happening over time to allow for a smooth and successful process. Agility will continue to be involved with their partners to create new CMS-based solutions that can be executed independently.
