We provide you with a login to the Agility Content Manager browser-based management tool so that you can manage the pages, content and functionality on your site.

Manage pages

Agility allows non-programmers to manage the pages, folders and links that make up the menu items on your site. You can create new pages, move pages around in the sitemap, delete pages, change content, and publish pages to the live site, all without any programming.

Each page is based on a template. The template defines which areas of the page have editable content. When you make changes to the page, you can preview them in ‘Staging Mode’ before you publish them to the live site. If you have workflow configured, Agility will guide you to the next step in the workflow before the changes are published live.

You can change page settings such as the URL, Title (the text that shows up at the top of the browser) and specify whether it requires workflow.

You can edit the Meta Keywords and Meta Descriptions that are unique for the page which helps optimize the page for search engines.

You can add custom scripts to the page. This is useful for tuning your analytics package such as Google Analytics.

You can schedule a page or content area to be published on one date and then unpublished on a future date.

You can look at the version history of a page or content and revert back to a version from the past.

You can set up security on the page to restrict or grant access to certain users with certain roles.

Manage Content

Agility allows non-programmers to add, edit and remove text and pictures on the page.

All content in Agility is stored in a Module. Modules are programmed according to the requirements of your site. Modules can be as simple as an area of rich text (text with formatting and pictures) or more involved functional elements such has a poll or Google Map. Depending on the type of module, Agility displays a form that is filled out to define how the Module is displayed.

Once you have created a page, you can add content to it by inserting the appropriate Module. For example, to add rich text (text with formatting and pictures) to a page, select the ‘Rich Text’ module and fill in the text, tables, colors and pictures that you would like to have on the page. Once configured, Modules can be edited, previewed and published at any time, according to your sites security and workflow.

Manage Functionality

Agility allows you to manage polls, maps, press releases, blogs and other widgets and functionality on your site. Agility Modules can be used to define functionality that goes beyond simple text and pictures. There are a number of pre-defined modules that are available for you to use, but we also create customized modules that suit your specific needs. There is no system Agility cannot integrate with to extend your functionality of your site. In special cases, you can manage external systems directly from the Agility User Interface as well.
