Agility Experience Implementation Process

The primary consideration of any content management system is the quality of the implementation.   No matter how many features or modules a CMS has, the project will fail if it is not implemented correctly. 

The Agility Experience implementation process ensures a flawless implementation tailored to your unique requirements.  The process breaks down as follows.

 

Planning


We start by establishing the requirements for your site including page layouts, functional components, back-end integrations and content management workflow based on the wireframes and graphic designs that you or your partners provide. This information is captured in a technical architecture document that guides the development of the site and configuration of the Content Manager application.
 

Implementation


There are two components to the Agility implementation: Website development and Agility Content Manager configuration. The required templates and modules for the website established in step one are coded by our CMS experts. External systems, such as ecommerce solutions, email marketing systems, and user profile databases are integrated into your site. The Content Manager interface is customized to meet the specific needs of the users managing your site.

Throughout the implementation, interim builds of the site are posted to our staging environment and tested by our quality assurance team to make sure navigation, integrations, and functionality are working as expected.  Each iteration is then presented for your review and input.
 

Documentation & Training


Customized documentation is prepared that provides step-by-step instructions on how to manage the content specific to your site. Hands-on training takes your users through the tasks required to enter and edit content and configure functional components, following your customized content workflow.
 

Content Entry and Translation


Once the framework is complete, the site is populated with content. Following the training, we recommend that you assist with content entry to save money and familiarize yourself with the system.

For multi-language sites, we streamline the translation process. Once the entire site is configured and populated, we export all of the content of the site into a document that allows side by side translation of pages, titles, form labels and other content by a translator. Once this document has been translated into the required languages, it is imported back into your site which automatically generates the entire site in the language provided.
 

Client Testing and Polish


Once the content has been entered in all required languages, we provide the site to you for final testing and make the final adjustments necessary to meet your quality standards.
 

Deployment


Following your final acceptance, we deploy the site to the production environment. We can host the site or set it up on your hosting provider of choice. Once deployed, we perform rigorous testing to make sure it is set up properly and optimized for performance.
 

Ongoing Support


Every Agility account includes unlimited email support, with same-day response. Phone support is available for an incremental fee. Our Software-as-a-Service model allows us to provide monthly updates to the web-based Content Manager application to all accounts with no increase in fees.
